UMAP 1st Board Meeting 2018

On April 25, 2018, the First UMAP Board Meeting 2018 was held at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) GSB in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

There were representatives from Brunei, China, Japan, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. Canada and Mexico also submitted the Power of Attorney. One of the significant decisions was to approve the establishment of sub-National Secretariats in eligible UMAP countries/territories, which will enable UMAP to expand its network and activate programs.

After the productive meeting, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) hosted Board Members to dinner and and a tour of Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur.

UMAP is looking forward to continuing discussions and developing further collaborations.
