UN SDG survey – we want to hear from you!

We want to hear from you!

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdul Latiff b. Ahmad was awarded a ResearchNet grant to support a study entitled “A Mapping Study on The Design, Communication and Implementation of SDG activities among UMAP International Higher Education Institutions” and provide baseline data for the UMAP SDG & Strategic Planning Taskforce.

 

Dr. Latiff and his team have developed a survey to gain insights on the practices of the UN SDGs among UMAP member institutions and should be completed by key academic or administrative leaders who deal directly with SDGs matters in their respective institutions.

The deadline to complete the survey is Thursday August 31, 2023 (PDT).

Canada, Mexico, US members invited to COIL design workshop

UMAP members from Canada, Mexico, and the U.S. are invited to participate in a Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) design workshop offered by AMPEI, the North American Program for the Internationalization of Curriculum. 

Take advantage of the Summer Break to learn how to apply COIL methodology to offer students an international education experience even while staying at home! 

Canadian, Mexican and U.S. institutions are invited to participate in the COIL Design workshop that will be offered from July 14 to August 4, 2023, with asynchronous access to all educational resources available on the AMPEI platform and sessions online every Friday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm (CdMx),  for interacting with the instructor and other colleagues.    Renowned experts will guide you to design your course and start your COIL experience!
