Ateneo de Davao University invites participation in COIL orientation and programming

UMAP members are invited to join Ateneo de Davao University in exploring Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) and participate in its multi-institutional implementation for the academic year 2024-2025.

COIL, in essence, blends two classes from different universities through a condensed 8- or 5-week joint syllabus, co-taught by two professors. Culminating in a COIL output, students will demonstrate their acquired knowledge and learning.

To know more, please invite your faculty members to join us for an COIL Orientation via Zoom scheduled for 16 February 2024 (Friday), from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM (PST), where we aim to:

  • Orient professors and lecturers from partner institutions about this COIL initiative
  • Introduce the nature of the COIL Classroom, elucidating the key aspects of its design as a tool for virtual exchange;
  • Officially launch the Call for COIL Champions sign-up sheet.
