I have not received my account registration confirmation email message. What should I do?

Please check your spam or junk folders for system notifications and verify that your email address is listed correctly in the coordinators’ directory. To ensure future delivery, we recommend adding usco-info@umap.org to your safe senders list.

The registration confirmation link is giving me an error message and I can not log in.  What now? 

This sometimes happens if you use a Gmail account instead of your home institution email.  Please use your official home institution email address and try again.

I am filling out my Personal Info section, but I do not have an IELTS or TOEFL score. What should I do?

To report alternative language credentials:

    • English: Select Other, enter your score, and specify the test name in the provided field.

    • Additional Languages: For languages such as Japanese or Spanish, enter the language name and test type under Other Language Certification.

I tried to upload my transcript/language certification, but when I clicked on Save, I got an error message with yellow blocks and machine language.  What’s going on?

Your attachment may be too big. Attachments may not exceed 4MB. Please reduce your file size and try again.

I can’t remember the mandatory password requirements.  What do I need to create my student password?

Your password must be at least 10 characters long, including upper and lower case letters, a number, and a symbol.

I forgot my password. What should I do?

Click on Log In. On the Log In page, find the “Forgot your password?” link. Enter the email address that you used to register the account. A link for resetting your password will be sent to your email address.

How many programs can I apply to?

For Programs A/ B you may apply for up to three programs each application period.  For program C opportunities, there are no limits.

I am trying to apply for a program but I do not see the “Add to my Application” button.

It looks like this program isn’t open for applications just yet. Although programs stay visible on the site for planning purposes, you can only apply during the official window. We recommend checking the dates in the program description to see when to return.

I want to apply for a scholarship but I can not find the scholarship application. How do I apply?

For Scholarships for programs in Taiwan or to/ from Canada, start by submitting the applications for your preferred programs. If your application is selected, you will be invited to apply separately for funding.
