The Japan Hub for Innovative Global Education (JIGE) Project is pleased to invite you to the JIGE Kick-Off Symposium scheduled for January 24-26, 2024 in Tokyo, Osaka, and Online (Zoom). This hybrid symposium will feature various sessions, workshops, and keynote presentations marking the commencement of the JIGE project in Japan.
JIGE is a groundbreaking global education initiative by three Japanese Universities (Kansai University, Tohoku University, and Chiba University) aimed at revolutionizing higher education and workforce development through innovative virtual, blended mobility, and internship programs. Learn about visual effects and animation production in this fully online micro-credential. Students will be required to complete 4 courses from January to April 2024 (15 sessions in total. Classes are Tuesdays @ 18:15-21:15 Pacific Time) to obtain this credential. Two UMAP Canada scholarships available for eligible students.
