Indonesia
Indonesia
Halo (Hello) | Apa kabar? (How are you?) | Selamat pagi (Good morning)
Did you know…?
Indonesia is the world’s largest archipelagic state, spanning over 17,000 islands across three time zones. While Bahasa Indonesia is the unifying national language, the country’s true character is found in its 700+ local languages and a rich cultural mosaic shaped by Javanese, Balinese, Islamic, Hindu and Dutch influences.
From the majestic sunrise over Mount Bromo and the ancient spiritual wonder of Borobudur Temple to the iconic surf breaks of Bali and the towering skyscrapers of Jakarta, the nation offers an unparalleled contrast between ancient heritage and modern growth.
Indonesia is a burgeoning hub for international academic exchange, particularly in the fields of environmental science, tropical medicine and the arts. With its legendary warm hospitality and diverse living experiences, it provides a vibrant and affordable home for students seeking to immerse themselves in the heart of Southeast Asia.
