Ifugao State University was founded in 1920 and has metamorphosed and progressed over the years. It has six campuses situated in different municipalities of Ifugao.


IFSU has been actively participating and collaborating with local and international private and government agencies to pursue development projects to improve the living conditions of the rural community, particularly in the province, and to further improve its research and development capabilities in various fields.


The University is also firmly extending its wings towards achieving an international caliber education by internationalizing its educational standards, IFSU is continually putting up more academic linkages to service both faculty and student foreign exchange exposure of the university and to foster talent in young people and give them opportunity to gain an international perspective.
