De La Salle University in Manila the Philippines is an internationally recognized Catholic university established by the Brothers of the Christian Schools in 1911. Its Vision-Mission is to be a leading learner-centered research university, bridging faith and scholarship in the service of society, especially the poor. It is a Catholic coeducational institution founded in 1911 by the Brothers of the Christian Schools.

The academic programs of DLSU are accredited by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities (PAASCU) and granted Institutional Accreditation status by the Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP) for having demonstrated the highest standards of instruction, research, and community engagement and having developed wide networks and linkages with other educational institutions. The ASEAN University Network (AUN) has recently conferred upon De La Salle University the AUN Quality Mark at the Institutional Level. DLSU is the first university in ASEAN to earn the certification.

To be brought by the exchange student upon arrival to the Philippines: Medical Certificate with Chest X-ray result/ International Medical/Health insurance (covering accident, hospitalization, death, etc)

Special Study Permit and Alien Certificate of Registration Information Card: Php9,000. This will be processed by the International Center. Tourist visa extension fees - approximately Php5,530 per month.
