The programs are designed to have learning process in theoretical aspects of Engineering, Health Science, and Science in lecture rooms and laboratories using the engineering knowledge in medical science applications. The program emphasizes in Medical Imaging, Medical Image Processing, Medical Signal Processing, Bioinformatics, Biomechanics, Cell and Tissue Engineering, Cardiac Electrophysiology, Biomaterials, and Medical Instrumentation.

Education support
1. The faculty assigns an academic advisor and a thesis advisor for each student. Students can consult with their advisors regarding study plans, how to select and plan for future professions, and how to live in the university. Each advisor has to establish office hours for students’ consultation
2. There is an academic and research fund seeking support for students.
3. Student will be encouraged to attend seminars, conferences to increase their knowledge and experience in research.

International Student Support & Services

1. Orientation Program
First week of classes, the orientation will be organized for BME students. There will be various kinds of activities such as welcome meeting, campus tour in order to introduce CMU general information and interesting areas nearby.

2. Volunteer Buddies
Our program will assign staff and student to take care of new international students and help them to settle down for housing, suggest good restaurants, transportation, etc.
